Student View:
"Wrestling is my favorite sport in high school. It means a lot to me and is a big part of my life. It has taught me that anything is possible if you want it bad enough. I think it is probably the hardest sport physically and also mentally, but the feeling you get when you succeed is worth all the hard work. When I say succeed, I don't just mean when you win, either. You can lose and still succeed by not giving up and giving all you have not to get pinned or just to put up a good fight.
Even though wrestling is mostly individually rewarding when it comes to matches, it is also a great team sport. You help each other in practice and push each other to do better. As a team you cheer on the individual that is wrestling and you give each other confidence to succeed.
Wrestling has taught me to be an individual and to give it my best. It has given me self-confidence and the feeling that anything is possible if it is wanted bad enough."
